Julie HyoJeong Kim

 

Korean pianist Julie HyoJeong Kim has garnered international acclaim for her solo performances, having graced stages in France, Germany, Korea, and the United States.

Public Debut: at age seven, she made her public performance debut at 15 after winning the Excellent Performer Prize hosted by the Korean Music Association in 2002.

  • Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy the Hartt School, University of Hartford

  • Piano Solo Achievement at the Oeun Arts Festival

  • First Prize hosted by the Korean Music Association,

  • Excellence Award in Music, and Third Prize at the National Student Music Promotion hosted by the Venusto Artist Federation

  • First Prize Winner of 2021 International Music Competition "London" Grand Prize Virtuoso

  • First place in the American Protégé International Competition 

    • Carnegie Hall debut in 2021 ​

Emsemble and Accompanying 

  • performed as a guest artist and accompanist | high school bands, orchestras, and colleges, including Tarrant College  

  • Pianist at UNT Symphonic Band

 

Teaching

  • An active member of the Frisco Music Teachers Association and the National Federation of Music Clubs

  • Worked as a Choir and Music teacher at Santa Clara of Assisi Catholic School

Julie HyoJeong Kim continues actively performing and teaching students, sharing her passion for music with the community. Additionally, she serves as Choir director at Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Colony.
